WELCOME....AGAIN!

this was originally used as my personal blog, but that has since moved to www.patrickgensel.com check there for random technology news as well as my random rants. this platform will serve as a bit of a web portfolio of my video and media work, basically a place to bring all my creative works together. eventually i will setup a wordpress blog to facilitate this, but for now it will be done through this. check back often to see what new items i have posted. I have a few equipment projects I have been working on, and I will have video/photos of these projects up within a week or so.

Ive been slowly working on the site over at www.revillusionsmedia.com. I currently have a flash logo i designed up on the site, and am working on a structure for the website. please feel free to check out the site from time to time as i plan on building upon it frequently.

A step ahead

as of this sunday I will officially have my first full time job. will be agent on deck for geeksquad at best buy. basically I get to divide my time between working in-store and out on the field. I am pretty excited as this will be a new experience for me. I am looking forward to the in the field portion of the job where i am likely to learn a lot. I know in the IT/Tech world GS isn't very highly regarded, but i myself have learned a great deal that i did not know, about technology, people, and myself.  I see this a great stepping stone for me, and hope to make our already solid team even better.

Well I've just registered www.patrickgensel.com, so for now it is set as a redirect to this blog, but i plan to create a nice interactive website there about my daily life, for the purpose of fine tuning my design skils. I plan on playing with some flash stuff to spice up the site. for now though, it will just lead you here. so keep checking back when you have a chance to see what i have done.

It's been a while since i've got to drop a line here, well lets see what has happened since then. well for starters some lowlife stole my snowboard, my first day out for the season, on my birthday no less. hope they have fun doing whatever with it. despite that loss I did pick up a new board and bindings, and if all goes according to plan I will be on the mountain this wednesday trying it out. the board is a Forum warrior 153, and the bindings are Forum Faction. 

christmas came and went as it does each year, I got to spend some time with my family which I enjoyed. The new year is fast approaching with less the 24 hours in 2007. it seems like the years fly by after high school ends.

I just recently completed my new

 computer that I have been working on for some time. it turned out pretty well, and so far i havent had any problems with it which is a first for me when it comes to custom building computers. the computer was built as a home theater pc gear 

-ed towards music, movies and classic games. it has a intel Q6600 quad core processor, 2 gigs of 800mhz ddr2 ram, an intel media series board, and it is all nicely into a home theater style case.
